Photograph of Hiscock Bust taken by R.F.La Fontaine (self). Thomas Hiscock is claimed by many to be the first discoverer of gold in Victoria, Australia 1851. Bust was carved by his grandson George John Hiscock who is a greatgrandfather to the owner of the bust, J. La Fontaine.
