Historical Records of Australian Science
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Historical Records of Australian Science (HRAS) is the journal of record for the history of science, pure and applied, in Australia and the southwest Pacific.
The HRAS began in 1966 as an irregular publication as the Records of the Australian Academy of Science, the present name being adopted in 1980. Since then, the Journal has appeared annually and, since 1991, twice a year (i.e. two issues per volume).
The Chair of the Editorial Board is Professor David R. Curtis, Australian National University, Canberra. The Editor is Professor R.W. Home.
The HRAS is published by CSIRO Publishing.
Journal articles can be downloaded online for a fee, however, the online content only extends back to Volume 14, Number 1, 2002.
