Five Pillars

Hi thanks for querying about 5 pillars. I am out of town today. I logged in from a cyber cafe. I will solve them tomorrow.BalanceRestored 07:47, 2 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi I am here, I am online. Hey you did not help me when I was fighting for your religion that day at the ANI??? Well some people are teaching wrong Hinduism, that is what I feel so far. I am here to learn and understand my own religion. Some days ago 1 Islam follower friend of mine took me to his teachers who asked me about the loopholes in Hinduism, I was not in a position to answer them about the same. I had to keep quiet. I told them I will first learn about my religion and only then comment. I am doing the same. So, far I only understand that these loopholes the Islam teacher told me about are man made. They are not from GOD. I've not read many books. But certainly looking at the books it looks like not everything is from GOD, If I would have taught something to one student, I will surely teach something else to another student after I would have upgraded my own knowledge and would have taught something else to another student. If GOD would have taught things, in my opinion should have been 100% constant. Many things about many religion looks constant. Every religion talks about GOOD will win no matter what. So, I am in search of why there are so many religions???? So many castes, and so many problems? There are many more questions about life, origin, death also in front of me, for which I need to fiind answers.BalanceRestored 06:56, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Vedas_Divisions

Follow http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Vedas#Vedas_Divisions, DAB is taking me for a ride. He does not answer the questions I ask, instead is trying to cut the discussion. what to do?BalanceRestored 12:46, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

thanks for "adopting" BalanceRestored, you are doing a good job. dab (š’³) 09:44, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Retributive smile!

Hey Hirohisat! Thank you for the smile. Here's one in return! :-) I'm jealous to learn that: 1) you're a native Japanese speaker 2) living in Hawaii!! :-) Best regards, HĆŗsƶnd 13:37, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Adoption

Hey there - You mentioned in my talk page that you would potentially be interested in adopting me. I'd be honored! --mariusstrom 16:44, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks. I've reviewed the five pillars article you suggested I look at. I've also been tracking a series of pages that I've been reviewing as I'm coming up to speed on WP -- you can see them on my reference list. --mariusstrom 01:35, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
Responded to your request on my talk page. Sorry about the delay, pesky real-life getting in the way! --mariusstrom 23:01, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
Further clarification posted on my talk page. --mariusstrom 01:48, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
Ok, I've gotten a revert or two in. I'm noticing that people are pretty quick about reverting overt vandalism! I've gone to revert probably 5 or 6 things, but was beat to the punch on most! I'll keep working at it for a bit. --mariusstrom 01:29, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

It would be awesome if you adopted me, it would be great. Papermariofreak64

Thanks for your communication

I want to compliment you on the patient and kind approach that you are talking to mentoring. Regarding the particular user that I left a comment for, I assume you know that that the user has been engaged in serious conflict for quite some time on multiple articles regarding WP:SOAP, WP:V, and general failure to deal with consensus. I understand that your approach is to gradually give perspective on all Wikipedia policies, and that cannot be done all at once. Buddhipriya 00:29, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Does DAB need to be given a warning

Dab has persistantly used the following words, when he has no answers for the questions I ask.

  1. "you are doing it again:"
  2. "At best, I take it personally that I should be expected to waste time on this pointless exchange."
  3. "but if you do not choose to do that, pray spare us from your own musings."
  4. "There is no point at all in posting this on talk every day if you cannot pinpoint your text"
  5. "this is getting silly."

These are not a language from a decent editorBalanceRestored 11:07, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

I've cited references, even then the editor does what he has to do. Ignores the citations and talks the above.BalanceRestored 11:08, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

New Mexico Rail Runner Express

Anything in particular (sorry about the late not, I was busy at editors for deletion), or do you just want a class (Stub/Start/B/GA/A/FA) and importance rating? Giggy Talk | Review 07:21, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

B class at best (you should probably withdraw the GAC, unless you want me to take a look and fail it!). Trivia section = bad. WP:FURG - [2]. Lead should be expanded per WP:LEAD - at least two paragraphs, with a complete summary of article. IMO there are too many images. Poor referencing - only 4 inline citations? Criticism section should be expanded, and EVERYTHING in it should be referenced. As I said, low B/high Start class. Giggy Talk | Review 07:28, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
Don't talk to me about rep :P Age of Mythology and Dream Days at the Hotel Existence both got through on attempt #4. I was shocked when Call of Duty 2 got in first try! Giggy Talk | Delete 07:32, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
Hell yeah! GAC is one of the best ways to improve an article (don't tell anyone I said that :P). Giggy Talk | Delete 07:42, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
In the process of failing I list ways to improve it. As for EFD...define succeed :P Giggy Talk | Delete 07:53, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

Citations

Hi, Hirohisat. I've asked editors for complete citations with exact wordings since the same is absent. Reply "You are lazy". "In this case, it would be well if you could get access to an Indological library. But in this particular case, why don't you use amazon's "search inside" feature? Show some initative, man, or at least offer payment if you expect people to work for you at your whim. If you are really too lazy to even use google, use WP:RD, where people may be willing to do your work for you. dab (š’³) "BalanceRestored 08:33, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

You can see this explanation for the request of citations http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Vedas#In_Vedic_times.2C_there_were_three_Vedas. I am sure the citations are something else and this friend of mine is adding his own wordings. BalanceRestored 08:35, 10 August 2007 (UTC)

I was trying to check if things where really cited the way it is written, this is what DAB does. The sentences these people are writing are not even cited. There are many things this way... all over... When I started querying about the misquotes, this is what has happen.BalanceRestored 12:39, 10 August 2007 (UTC)
