[edit] re: Helpme
Hi, I answered your questions on my userpage. Best, Matan 00:43, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- Also, I looked at your edits. I am not an expert on those subjects, so I can't say much for content. I would recommend, however, that you preview your edits before saving them, in order to avoid re-making changes. Cheers, Matan 00:49, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Forbidden Planet HD-DVD-Cover.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Forbidden Planet HD-DVD-Cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 15:16, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
- 04-Nov-2007: KEPT. I relinked that DVD-cover image in article "Forbidden Planet" and added commentary. A fair-use image must be mentioned within an article's text, such as "note the Captain and Altira on the cover" etc. After relinking to article commentary, I untagged the image from "{{di-orphaned fair use|date=November 4 2007}}". -Wikid77 17:07, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image on HDR page
Hi,
I removed your image because it doesn't add much information about what HDR is and what its benefits are (judging from the contrast of the scene, HDR seemed hardly necessary). There tends to be a lot of spamming of this page with links and images, so it's best to first ask in the Talk page whether it's ok to add your image/link.
I hope that makes sense and that I didn't hurt your feelings by this removal.
Cheers, /Alexandre --Nattfodd (talk) 09:13, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Please read this WP:INDIC..
Regarding Indic text (e.g. Gurmukhi) - please read WP:INDIC. The spelling errors you see are not errors. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.86.147.5 (talk) 19:58, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
