[edit] Why Hayashi is important

Hirofumi Hayashi is an important historian regarding the issue of comfort women. He has quite a full page in the Japanese Wiki (that I don't have time to translate at the moment), and is an important critic of the revisionist historian, Ikuhiko Hata who is attempting to delete mention of comfort women from Japanese middle school students' textbooks and rewrite the history regarding the abuses inflicted on comfort women by Japan.

I have mostly started this article because I plan to expand it soon, and I hope to draw attention of other translators who may add to the article when they see the link to the Japanese page.

It's all about connecting the info yo! Yaki-gaijin 11:30, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
