This looks like a list of files that hiren's boot CD happens to include, which can be found at hiren and thanki's web site anyway, and isn't very encyclopedic. Can't we get some more useful information here? Hydroksyde 08:28, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

After looking at the Hiren's boot cd home page it is apparent that the CD conatins warez - is this a good enough reason for deleting this article?--Mutley 07:02, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Well, a ping flood can give people ideas. Warez contains a picture of The Pirate Bay, a notable Warez site, and mentions it inside the article multiple times. Should I VFD those articles? Rather than deleting it it should be stated that this contains warez, and is thus illegal. --J.P. 01:09, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

not a good enough reason becuse links to sights that may contain copyright infiged items can be linked to the home page linked to only lists the items, and we have articles like pardox (warez group) Cartoonborg 17:48, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] wow warez? who cares

yeah, this has warez tools in it... but think about it. if your SOL with a bad MBR. this might save your life. wikipedia is suposto not be biased. but really people, you have detailed articles on pedo and lolicon. who the fuck cares if someone looses some money or not. just to save a computer. nothing on the CD really is that bad warez. i downloaded an ISO of it. and my friends love it that i can just pop it in, and fix their virus problems and spyware issues.

I dont think this was the issue, I think the author of the above comment saw (just as I did) that this article was marked for deletion, and jumped to the conclusion that some misquided moralist had made it happen somehow.

As for the To-bo-deleted article, do we think it contains enough information that is specific to hiren's boot cd to be accepted? Most of the information in this article describes the recent diagnostic live cds, and not hiren's specifically. This article needs to be edited with more information specific to hirens bootcd.

[edit] Not MS-DOS.

I changed "MSDOS" to "diagnostic utilities" because the CD only uses MSDOS as a bootstrap. Some of the utilities may be DOS, but others are not (some use Linux IIRC, but I don't know which ones). --CCFreak2K 10:02, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

It does contain DOS utilities, and thus it is correct to say it has MS-DOS utilities. Just look at the list of items that are included, and you will see a bunch of DOS utilities. --- Jacques Pirat - Talk : Contribs 00:48, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
