[edit] Middlebury and Andover

There is a Hiram Bingham who attended both Middlebury College and Andover Theological Seminary who is apparently not the subject of this article. This Hiram Bingham was graduated from Middlebury in 1839, according to the Catalogue of the Officers and Alumni of Middlebury College in Middlebury by Thomas Emerson Boyce (p. 87). This person then attended Andover Theological Seminary, and held his pastorate in Windham, Ohio, as this source concurs. Because the timeline of this Hiram Bingham does not match that of the subject of this article, I have reason to believe that the subject of the article may not have attended Middlebury and Andover, and that the subject is a different person sharing the name Hiram Bingham. Can anyone elucidate? -- JeffBillman (talk) 23:41, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

Here is the diff, with relevant source, which I used in expanding the article. I'm quite doubtful that I still have the magazine/journal around, but the citation is complete enough that you can go to a good research library (or buy online access to the archives of that source) and confirm.
