Can anyone expand this entry any further? It would be great to see a synopsis af all six episodes as well as more to do with the critical reaction. My tapes of this vanished years ago so i can't help much beyond what i've done.

Thanks

The main basis of the so called "critical reaction" was people saying "It doesn't really look like the 1960s", comments made by people who were either under 5 years old, or unborn IN the 1960s, so how the hell would they know? It is probably one of the most well written and original pieces that Matthews and Linehan have produced, it was unfortunately aimed at an audiance that was too up its own arse or thick to appreciate both the humour and the subtlety. People who read this and get irate about it would fall in the same category. Deal with it.
