Hindustan Movement is a web forum established in 1994 for issues related to India and particularly to Hindustan. The site was awarded Best Community Site by Yahoo Internet Life in 2000.[citation needed]
The Movement began on Usenet during the early 1990s and migrated to a web site in 1994.
The objectives of the Movement focus around the free, unbridled exchange of ideas. Stated objectives include creating "a unified voice of Indians" and "to provide a central forum to exchange...information" as well as "to safeguard...from corrupt and indulging politicians" and "publish...information on...religious preachers who are prowling on poor people of India and converting them against their will."
