Hindu mathematics

Hindu mathematics deals with the study of mathematics in Vedic texts and the applications of this in Indian mathematics and Sanskrit grammar.

[edit] Sulbasutra Period

The Sulba Sutras were a treatise of Hindu canon written in the second millennium BCE[1]. This period ended around 200 C.E.[2]. These texts were religious in effect but also set the groundwork for architecture in India.
