The Hinde's Lesser House Bat (Scotoecus hindei) is a species of vesper bat in the Vespertilionidae family. It is found in Cameroon, Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, and Zambia. Its natural habitat is dry savanna.
