Shimla, 21 March 2007- Recently the Himachal Pradesh state government has decided to ease its law against killing the wild boars and even consuming its meat. Now a person can kill up to ten boars in the state.

Mandi, 16 March 2007- Himachal skiers won 3 skiing titles— (i)slalom, (ii)giant slalom and (iii)best all-rounder in alpine skiing in the 5 days National Winter Games that were held at Auli in Uttarakhand on 16 March.
  • Airtel hits 5 lakhs mark in Himachal Pradesh
Shimla, 13 March 2007- Bharti Airtel had now became the first mobile operator in the state to cross the five lakhs customer mark.

As per the figures released by the Cellular Operators Association of India, Airtel in Himachal on 28 February 2007 had up to 504,042 customers.

December 30, 2006: Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister said that Himachal Pradesh had age old cultural bond and trade ties with Tibet. He was addressing the Parliamentarians of the Tibetan Government in Exile at Dharamsala at the civic reception organized by them in his honour.

December 24, 2006: Virbhadra Singh, Chief Minister, said that suitable locations were being identified to develop more parking lots in the capital town of Shimla for safety and relief of road congestion.
24rd, January,2007: Rs.48 crore are being spent on construction of 70 Science Labs in Senior Secondary Schools of the State during current financial year.
