I confirmed that Hilti has at least 14,000 employees. --BrenDJ 21:24, 24 January 2006 (UTC)

Hilti's TPS technology does NOT use Bluetooth technology, although its PD 38 laser range meter does harness that technology; TPS relies on an RF transponder inside the tool to "scan" a key as the key comes within the tool's proximity. Once the tool is activated, the operator can use it until it is disconnected from the power source.

In addition to power tools (rotary hammer drills, breaking hammers, laser positioning systems, diamond coring systems, gas cut-off saws, angle grinders, cordless drill/drivers, circular saws, jig saws, reciprocating saws, and the afore-mentioned powder-actuated systems), Hilti also develops, manufactures, and markets consumables for those tools, anchors and fasteners (predominantly for concrete), construction chemicals, and firestop products.

As to whether the tools are "way over priced"... This is not an objective statement. Hilti products are priced at what the market will bear and with a respectable level of market penetration in North America, and significant market penetration in Europe.

Overly positive and only corporate website links... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 89.191.14.186 (talk) 18:05, 22 December 2006 (UTC).

If not hilti employees then some one who just looked at their website to get all the information.Buffalodan 14:15, 16 July 2007 (UTC)Buffalodan

[edit] All the different languages

Why does the english version of wikipedia need to link to the Finnish version of the hilti website. I think a link to english version would be sufficent, maybe german, since they are from a german speaking country(i think)Buffalodan 14:15, 16 July 2007 (UTC)Buffalodan

I'll delete them. We're not a link farm. I've removed a blatant copyvio, and added two references but the article is still far from good.-h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 09:21, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
