Hill of Beans Records is an independent record label focusing on new and classically ignored Rock and Roll. It is located in the Greater Los Angeles area, California. It was founded in 2006. Artists include Cockfighter (band), Garth Murphy and DJ For Hire.
Talk about Hill of Beans Records and its artists has ranged from mentions in magazines like HESO and Tokion, to pitchforkmedia and Steve Jones (musician)'s radio show Jonesy's Jukebox.
The label's DIY approach to music is echoed in their diversity of bands and products offered. Though focusing on releasing E.P.s, Hill of Beans also offers a wide range of products from bands other than music CDs including roasted coffee and multi vitamins.
