The Hill-forest Honeyeater (Meliphaga orientalis) is a species of bird in the Meliphagidae family. It is found in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes.
