Hildon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hildon is an application framework for Linux operating system mobile devices (PDAs, mobile phones, etc) developed by Nokia under their maemo project and now a part of GNOME.[1] It includes a Task Navigator to start and switch between programs, a Control Panel for user settings, and a GUI toolkit (derived from GTK+). It is standard on the maemo development platform used by the Nokia Internet Tablets.[2]
Hildon has also been selected as the GUI for Ubuntu Linux Mobile and Embedded Edition.[3]
