Hilde Schbeiker (ヒルデ・シュバイカー Hirude Shubaikā?) is a former OZ soldier in the anime series Gundam Wing who aids Duo Maxwell in his mission to defeat OZ. She is voiced by Kae Araki (JPN) and Marcy Goldberg (ENG).
Originally a loyal soldier to the cause of the OZ military, Hilde greets Duo by offering him a clipboard with which to sign up to become a soldier. However, during their second encounter, Duo forces Hilde to reconsider her loyalty. Later, she hides Duo in her home, and assists him in completing the remaining modifications to the XXXG-01D2 Gundam Deathscythe Hell. She pleads with Duo not to return to space, but her words are unable to sway him.
Unable to change Duo's mind, Hilde decides to help in his cause, and she attempts to steal information from White Fang, to give to the Gundam pilots. But though she successfully retrieves the data disk, she is discovered and soundly defeated in MS combat. Only her rescue by an angry and frustrated Duo saves her life. However, the battle leaves Hilde severely injured, and she is last seen in the series lying on a gurney in a medical center, being wheeled away from Duo and his friends, presumably into surgery.
[edit] Endless Waltz
Hilde is next shown at the end of Endless Waltz, spending time with Duo. In the OAV, they work together in a scrapyard; in the movie, they're eating lunch together in a Chinese restaurant. Whether the two are romantically involved at that point, or are just very close brother/sister-type friends, is still debated, and it could be seen either way easily.
