Hilde Holovsky

Hilde Holovsky (died July 3, 1933) was an Austrian figure skater who won medals at the 1931 and 1933 World Figure Skating Championships. When she won the silver medal behind Sonja Henie in 1931, she was only 13 years old and made a great impression.
In addition to competing in figure skating, Holovsky also participated in speed skating and in 1932 set the Austrian record for ladies in the 500 meters.
Holovsky died suddenly of appendicitis in July, 1933.
