Hilde Heynen is professor of architectural theory at the KULeuven. She is the author of Architecture and Modernity. A Critique (MIT Press, 1999) and co-editor of Dat is architectuur. She publishes regularly in architectural journals such as the Harvard Design Magazine and The Journal of Architecture, of which she is a member of the editorial board. She is also a board member of the EAAE (European Association of Architectural Education) and SAH (Society of Architectural Historians).
