Hilary Paweł Januszewski, friar, priest (1907-1945 Dachau concentration camp); a Carmelite who managed to survive in the camp of Dachau until 1945. Then in February 1945, in the lager typhoid spread, he offered himself freely to serve those who were dying in an isolated make-shift building because, as he used to say, he was more needed there. He contracted typhoid and died there. One of 108 Martyrs of World War Two.
