The Hikari company's history should remain in the Wikipedia since it is very well-known to fishkeeping hobbyists especially koi and goldfish petkeepers. Their products are considered first class and what distinguishes the Hikari products from other brands is that apart from nutritional advantages (through an innovitave food technology) the fish food products don't cloud the water. And that makes Hikari notable. Wikipedia must be able to provide this information to fishkeepers and would-be petowners.Dragonbite 16:35, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Notability

Hi All. I think the rewrite reads better, however, the notability of the company remains unestablished. In order to not be deleted the article needs to cite sources that demonstrate it's notability under WP:CORP. The quality of products they make has no bearing on the notability (from WP's point of view). I'll re-add the notability tag. If notability cannot be asserted in the article the article should probably be subject to an AFD discussion. MidgleyDJ 22:52, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] POV removed

I removed POV statements especially some not sourced. If sources exist that clearly document the claims then, by all means, add a citation and add them back. JodyB talk 00:02, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

Agreed, I removed some other POV about the food making water cloudy. If you want to add such claims you need to back it up with sources.--Payam81 (talk) 16:18, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
