Do you think it's acceptable to have non formatted at all refs in a GA? And {{Pokefair}} refers to pictures, you can use it for nearly everything. Highway Daytrippers 06:35, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
- Clearly "It does not limit the copyright owners rights to sell the game. " makes it completely inappropriate for use within non game related photos.--I'll bring the food 22:07, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
-
- Additionally are you just trying to get me to use it because you were heavily involved in its creation? That is highly inappropriate.--I'll bring the food 22:10, 24 September 2006 (UTC)
I have noticed even with citations added with accessed on blah blah type stuff they are all too long and wordy in format. Could you suggest a smaller formatting that would include the website's/book's name, date published and accessed? Got any good article examples? Take a look at the first 3 footnotes. They're bloody 2 lines long each. That's far too long, would you suggest an improvement? You're clearly more versed on this and I need advice.--I'll bring the food 21:54, 1 October 2006 (UTC)

The lead article of the Project recently lost its FA status, and now some of the other articles are being reviewed. Citations and references within articles are again the major concern. Contributors who have literature (books, magazines, links, etc.) are especially needed to provide the necessary citations. It is not enough for editors to know the facts; they need to be backed up by other sources. All help, both within the articles and the discussion, would be appreciated.
If you've just joined, add your name to the Participants section of Wikipedia:WikiProject The Beatles. You'll get a mention in the next issue of the Newsletter and get it delivered as desired. Also, please include your own promotions and awards in future issues. Don't be shy! Lastly, this is your newsletter and you can be involved in the creation of the next issue (Issue 007 – November 2006). Any and all contributions are welcome. Simply let yourself be known to any of the undersigned, or just start editing! Come back, Kingboyk! The children miss you!

- You can always write them up anytime, and just copy and paste once it's up, since you know what the questions will be. And so I don't have to start another thread, Banes is still around (as far as I am aware); he has still be active in council related things, and has still been around Wikipedia, just not as actively. I believe his message is just functioning to let people know that he is rather busy, as many of us often get. Sorry
I realize that I acted rude towards you in both the Kirby article and the Wario article. Namely the Wario article because, most likely, it was my first FA and I was annoyed that you were FARing it, and while I still think your references standard is too extreme, the Wario article should not have been FA; bad prose and grammar, incomplete facts, and a lot of things going unreferenced. - A Link to the Past (talk) 00:49, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

Re: Editing problem (and other unrelated things)
Sorry for taking so long to get back on this, Highway! Glad to see that you're back, by the way. Though I'm sure you have more exposure to the Pikachu article, my thinking is that for the time being, it's fine to leave it unprotected; yes, it's getting vandalized, but it's a very popular article, and therefore invites more vandalism than many less-notable articles. If the vandalism seems to become more concentrated, though, perhaps protection is appropriate. I may not be the best admin to ask though, for whenever there is doubt, I'm more for leaving things unprotected. ;)
That's good about putting up the RfA questions, that will also give me a place to draft out and edit the nomination, which I'll work on over this week. Feel free to edit your the responses to your questions as you feel the need before I put it up on the 3rd. I'm excited for you! -- Natalya 17:55, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- I often find that reading through things I written at some point after I wrote them gives me good ideas of things to phrase better/convey better/generally edit. It's up to you if you want to change anything, but you can always look at comments people had about your previous question answers (unless you did already) if you want to see what people might think. Most importantly, just convey what is important to you! -- Natalya 22:38, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

Shiny Pokémon Images
Hey, Highway, I left a new post on the Talk Page for Torchic:
Hey, see this PokeBeach.com page for a near-rendition of the first 386 Shiny Pokémon!
After looking at the Title Bar after submitting the original entry in that article, I realised it was spelled as PokeBeach.com and not PokéBeach, so I have made the changes here accordingly. In any case, you (or anyone else, for that matter) might wish to use the images for Pokémon articles on Wikipedia. I just posted it over here and over there on a "just in case" basis. The choice of whether you (or anyone else) want to use it or not is at your (or that person's) discretion. -- A. Exeunt 13:26, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
P.S. If you (or anyone else) do, please remember to give credit where credit is due since Wikipedia is a public website! -- A. Exeunt 13:26, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
