I'm a history student at LSE. I was born in Zurich Switzerland and moved to Britain two years ago when I took up my studies here in London. I'm both a Swiss and British citizen and speak Swiss-German, German and English fluently.
I've been using Wikipedia for years now but have only just decided to become an active member or editor as it offers a great distraction from revision. Quite frankly I've become somewhat obsessed with checking the 'recent changes' so to revert obvious vandalism. The reason I bother with this is because I would like Wikipedia to become as reliable and encyclopaedic as possible. The internet is a great way of helping spread knowledge and information and Wikipedia plays an important part in this, hence the need for accuracy.
