I've given the article a copy edit. I would suggest that a lot of this article could use some impartial third-party references. I have removed the most unsupportable statements about social class -- these seem to be a matter of opinion and since they are not backed up with references they are the most open to challenge. There are still matters of opinion within the article but I suggest that they are capable of being proven as facts with the right references. Accounting4Taste 16:42, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
