Ok. This area isn't inner-city, it's not socially diverse. It's prominently white, anglo-saxon and conservative. Highland Park is part of the Ottawa-West riding which is usually Conservative both provincially and federally. The houses along Carling are not "lower class". I've lived in lower class apartments, they can be found in Vanier, not on Byron. Furthermore, there are no halfway houses. This article was completely inaccurate and had a strong POV. You make it sound like Highland Park is a very mixed neighbourhood. It isn't. Houses in this neighbourhood regularly sell for $600k+. Any disagreements?
