I think it is strange that in the scene where Ramy is holding a gun on Maleke and his room mate a Rage Against the machine song is playing when the views and most of the lyrics of Rage Against the machine are quite oposite to those of Ramy and the intended effect the music in this scene is trying to portay.

--That's because Remy himself was conflicted with the ideals which his group represented. We see this early on in the movie, as he has no true gripe with people like Malik. He has a problem with people like Fudge, who act offensively as their defense, failing to differentiate people by their actions rather than their. Not only is there irony with Remy's ideals and the makeup of the group RATM (Look into the bandmembers' backgrounds) but we also recognize Remy's personal battle with what he believes, and what he's fallen into believing. 74.12.12.55 19:30, 29 July 2007 (UTC) Joe Caron

I liked the role of Laurence Fishbourne as College profesor. In the role as teacher he want that college students bring good solutions in his erxecises. And he think all people are a mankind family.

"According to film critic/historian Roger Ebert, the name of Columbus University is an inside joke. The college is named for Christopher Columbus: a Dead White European Male whose "discovery" of America led to genocide and worse..."

Shouldn't this be changed? I'm not sure how the name of the Univ. qualifies as an inside joke when there are entire scenes that play on the controversial (and in some ways infamous) role that Columbus played in what happened once America was discovered by the Europeans. —Preceding unsigned comment added by C d h (talkcontribs) 04:53, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
