[edit] Merge Bell-LaPadula Model
Proposing that High watermark be merged into Bell-LaPadula model as it is an extension of that model & the current article is very short. Dthvt 04:45, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
Removing proposal due to objections made on the BLP discussion page. Dthvt 22:44, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Promotion on read-only access
The entry as stated today implies that opening an object for reading causing the object's security level to be promoted. Is this correct? It contradicts the earlier content of the article and I don't have the cited reference to arbitrate against. Dthvt 21:07, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
I'm sure the given example is wrong. There is no need to promote the level of an object on read-only access: `no read up' and `no write down' are maintained without such promotion, assuming the users don't write to the dictionary. Citruswinter 12:46, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
