Highway 131 is a former provincial highway of Ontario, located in Simcoe County, Ontario, near Barrie. The road was designated in 1984 as Highway 131, and its purpose was to divert Georgian Bay and Wasaga Beach-bound traffic off of Highway 26 in Downtown Barrie, to lower traffic amounts. This road was ultimately decommissioned in 1998, and is now known as Simcoe County Road 27 (despite never being a part of Highway 27).
