Highland Township is one of five townships in Vermillion County, Indiana. As of the 2000 census, its population was 1,655.

Highland Township covers an area of about 55 square miles and contains one incorporated settlement, Perrysville. According to the USGS, it contains six cemeteries: Ater, Chenoweth, Harrison, Hughes, Lower Mound and Smith.
