Highland Hills Middle School of the New Albany-Floyd County Consolidated School Corporation in Georgetown, Indiana, opened in 2004. Students from Galena, Georgetown, Greenville, and Floyds Knobs going into sixth grade will go there. The school has three floors, one each for sixth, seventh, and eighth grade. The students are divided into "cores", and have the teachers from their core. There are called gold, green, and black core. The school mascot is the jaguar. As of 2007, the school principal is Mr. Steve Griffin. The assistant principals are Larry Schellenberg and Janet Stites. the counselers of highland middle school are.
