The High Sierra Sport Company was founded in 1979 as H. Bernbaum Import & Export Company by Harry Bernbaum and Hank Bernbaum. High Sierra is the tenth largest outdoor company in the United States. High Sierra is the official supplier of bags to the US Ski and Snowboarding team. Today, the High Sierra Sport Company employs 40 people and distributes and sells to more than 1500 retailers and 2250 corporate accounts worldwide. High Sierra Sport backpacks can be found at most department stores and major online retailers. Some competitors of the company include Eagle Creek, Jansport, Samsonite, and The Timberland Company.
High Sierra products include luggage, day packs, internal frame backpacks, lumbar packs, hydration packs, duffel bags, business cases and ski and snowboard bags. High Sierra brand products may also be customized for use as a promotional product.
