"High Price" is set to be the first single from American singer-songwriter Ciara's third studio album Fantasy Ride, .[2] It was written by Ciara and The-Dream and produced by Tricky Stewart.[3] Ciara announced this to MTV VJs Sway and Akshay Bhansali on April 9, 2008[4] It consists of Ciara singing in an opera-style tone and with a crunk beat.[5] The song is slated for a release in June 2008, according to Billboard's website.[6].
