High Performing Asian Economies

High Performing Asian Economies, or HPAE, is a term referring to certain Asian economies that had a high growth period between the 1960s and the 1990s. This group of countries usually includes the tiger economies Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan as well as Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, and Thailand.[1] Depending on the context China is also included frequently.
