Higgsless model

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In particle physics, a Higgsless model is a model that does not have the Higgs boson, and employs a different mechanism of mass generation and electroweak symmetry breaking instead. Technicolor is an example of this type of Higgsless model. Physicists have interest in this theory because the current elementary particle model predicts a Higgs boson which is the only particle in the theory that has not been observed.
