Hiekkaharju (Swedish: Sandkulla) is a district in Vantaa, Finland, located north from Tikkurila district. In Hiekkaharju, there is a railway station. Hiekkaharju has a population of about 3,869 (in 2004). First buildings in Hiekkaharju were built in 1920, in the 50's was built a lot of apartments there. The soil is highly lead contaminated due to the fact that there used to be a lead factory. In this ground it is not advisable to plant anything because that will then have a high lead concentration.
