Hideo Noguchi did not die in the US (though he is buried there--in NYC), he died in Ghana.

Did Noguchi discover the syphillis cause in 1911 or 1913? There is a discrepency in the article.

[edit] "I don't understand".

last words: "I don't understand". okay, are there no ideas what it means in detail? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 89.15.195.185 (talk) 15:34, 12 March 2007 (UTC).

  • I think it means that Dr.Noguchi, as a yellow fever researcher, might be frustrated that he failed to understand what is the nature of the disease which kill him soon. --202.28.179.3 04:50, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Honors

The following is close to being ready for incorporation in this article, but not quite yet.

  • German Society of Natural Scientists and Physicians,
  • Congress of Internists and Pediatricians, 1914 (Austria).
  • American Academy of Medicine, 1914 (US).

This still needs a little more research. --24.199.75.242 (talk) 23:59, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
