[edit] What the hell!?

Where did all the images go of the beach pre-renovation? Why did someone delete them? It seems ridiculous to get rid of the history of the beach simply because they bring some sand in and throw up a lifeguard tower among other things. 75.73.191.97 00:41, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

This article is not accurate. The article states that "community members...voted in favor of graveling path,...cutting down...trees..." This is NOT true. Members of the surrounding community are very unhappy with the treatment and renovation of the beach in 2007. It was NOT the decision of the "community" to make the changes, it was the Minneapolis Park Board. Community members and organizations have appealed to the MPB to change the plans, but to no avail. Very few people, if anyone beside the police, are happy with the state of Hidden Beach in 2007. Most regulars no longer come to the beach and those that do show up are deeply saddened and concerned.
