Hideo Hiraoka

Hideo Hiraoka (平岡 秀夫? born January 14, 1954) is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Iwakuni, Yamaguchi and graduate of the University of Tokyo he jointed the Ministry of Finance in 1976. After leaving the ministry, he was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time in 2000.
