"Hide and Seek" is an episode of the Happy Tree Friends Flash cartoon series. This is the first episode to introduce Flippy, the war-torn bear who flips out every time he sees or hears something relating to the war and kill others in sight.

Be prepared for your first introduction to Flippy, the troubled war vet bear who suffers regular flashbacks. Flippy is the only Happy Tree Friend that intentionally inflicts harm on his fellow friends, which is how an innocent game of hide and seek turns deadly. ^[1]

[edit] Plot

While Toothy, Petunia and Flaky are going to hide, Flippy counts. While counting, he hears a woodpecker pecking on a tree assuming it's the sound of machine guns firing in the air. Evil Flippy emerges, and throws a bowie knife at the woodpecker. Toothy hides behind a tree. Flippy appears in camoflauge and snaps Toothy's neck. Then, as Flaky is searching for a place to hide, she gets strangled by Flippy's piano wire. Finally, Petunia became scared, walked backwards, and fell into a spike pit Flippy made. As Petunia struggles to get out, Flippy hands her a grenade, and it exploded offscreen.

1. Flippy kills Toothy by snapping his neck.
2. Flippy kills Flaky by hanging her with a piano wire.
3. Flippy kills Petunia after she falls into a pit of spikes and he hands her a grenade, which explodes offscreen.
