Hidden Hands of a Sadist Nation is the third full-length studio album by Darkest Hour. This album along with their future albums displays more melodic death metal influences than their previous work. It was released in 2003 (see 2003 in music), and contains nine tracks; but 10 for the Japanese release and for the DVD limited edition. For The Soul Of The Savior in this version includes a solo by Kris Norris which replaces the last part of the original song. It is considered one of the most important albums that have shaped Metalcore.[citation needed]
