Hic sunt leones

Hic sunt leones means "Here are lions". Romans wrote this on maps over unexplored territories, suggesting unknown dangers could lie there.
Nowadays, the use is changed. Hic sunt leones is normally used to indicate a person or a group of people that must be respected, because they are important people or leaders in a given situation.
