Hi Jinx

Hi Jinx (foaled 1955 in New Zealand) was a thoroughbred mare racehorse who won Australia's Melbourne Cup in 1960 at odds of 50 to 1. He was sired by Pride of Kildare from Lady's Bridge and was bred by the Trustees of the Estate C. Casey.

Hi Jinx was trained by Trevor H. Knowles and ridden by William A. Smith. The field included the champion Australian racehorse Tulloch who finished seventh.
