[edit] Split
At the moment, the layout of this article is confusing. It reads like two seperate articles, which although they are about seperate iterations of the same program, are different enough to qualify for their own articles. Gorman 02:53, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Kathleen
The Wiki reference to Kathleen de Leon Jones points to a page that hasn't been created yet. I don't have an account so I can't do it but it should really redirect to Kathleen de Leon which has some (though not much) content. 210.10.165.26 14:41, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
"Kathleen de Leon has been replaced by Sun Park in 2006" - Is this confirmed? Because Kathleen is still shown as the official cast member in the group's website. --61.69.236.117 16:53, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
- Kathleen won't be replaced by Sun on the website until the new series goes to air. Sun has replaced Kathleen in the 2006 shoot (and by consequence series 9) and also the 2006 tour. Gorman 02:48, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- At July 2007 Sun is on the show, and Kathleen is no longer on the official site, so obviously has gone (sigh). Wiki page thus requires cleanup --MichaelGG 09:54, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Page name
I was about to move this page to Hi-5 (Australian band) to match naming conventions - but then I thought it might be better off just at Hi-5, with the existing Hi-5 at Hi-5 (disambiguation). Checking out the What links here for Hi5 and Hi-5 shows pretty much 100% links destined for the Australian band. It may also save confusion in deciding if Hi-5 is a band, a TV show, or a group of entertainers - though this shouldn't be the reason for choosing primary disambiguation for this topic, just an additional bonus. Any suggestions? -- Chuq 12:19, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
- I notice the page has just been moved without discussion, but I think moving the American band off to it's own page might also be an idea. -- Chuq 00:15, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
- An interesting thought. I've gone and made changes without discussion as I didn't realise there was a process, hopefully I've not tread on anyone's toes. I think Hi-5 should go directly to the Australian page, with a link to the American page AND the disambiguation page. That makes the most sense to me. I'm not sure also for the standards of capitalization? Peter
[edit] Jup-Jup
"Jup Jup appears in this song too, making Chats the only character to have actually noticed Jup-Jup for real". On an episode I saw yesterday in New Zealand (on 24 October 2006), Kathleen was in Paris with Jup-Jup in her backpack. A Parisian artist (played by Nathan) paints her portrait which includes Jup-Jup in the backpack and she wonders what that is. Jup-Jup and the Frenchman say au revoir to each other and Kathleen thinks he's saying au revoir to her multiple times. Anyway, my point is that in this scene another chatacter sees Jup-Jup. - Actually, there's another one where both Nathan and Kellie see Jup jup in a museum when, again, Jup Jup is on Kathleen's back. --lincalinca 02:11, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Five in the air
How do we know that the theme song is called "Five in the air" and not "Hi-5 Theme"? --Vptes1 18:46, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Cleanup
I placed a cleanup tag onto the article. It's really filled with a lot of nonsensical garbage and I frankly don't have the time to sieve through it all myself, but am hoping someone can have the tenacity. I've done a lot for this article, but all the cruft is just cluttering things up. --lincalinca 12:55, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
- I've also reduced the article to start class due to the article becoming a cesspool of nonsense and unrequired gathering of lists. Let's get this back up to a B class, or even to GA/A or FA. It's possible, but not with the poor quality of editing currently going on. --lincalinca 12:58, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
I can fix info on it.. Hope we can try bringing it back to a high level!
