Hi-chew (ハイチュウ Haichū?) is a fruit-flavored chewy Japanese candy sold by Morinaga & Company.

The soft, chewy candy was first released in Japan in 1975. It was re-released in its current shape (a stick of several individually-wrapped candies) in February 1986. HI-CHEW is known for its outer white coating ( the same in every flavor) and inner flavoring.
Hi-Chews come in a variety of regional and seasonal varieties, not uncommon among Japanese sweets.
