Hi-Power Entertainment is a Southern California record label that specializes in hip hop. The label was started in 2000 by rapper Mr. Capone-E. Originally with Thump Records, Hi-Power signed a distribution deal in 2007 with Koch.[1] Hi Power Urban, just signed two artists to its roster and building a powerhouse brand for Urban releases. Look out for this label with street cred as it aggressively signs new artist and releases them to the masses through Koch Entertainment. Our first two projects will be Lil' Flip Presents Lootenant Second In Command & Krayzie Bone Presents Keef G.[2] Hi Power Entertainment will be looking for distribution deals for up-coming artists who want to get their releases to the world. As of January 2, 2008, Mr. Capone-E has turned over power to run his labor of love to Mr. DaVinci, who purchased Hi Power Entertainment from Mr. Capone-E and will take over all operations from this day forward. Mr. DaVinci got Mr. Capone-e out of lawyer debts and criminal offenses. He also paid off his IRS and all debts owed by Hi Power Ent. which exceeded 500k. Now Mr. Capone-e can operate more freely and concentrate on his music and not worry about label business and bills getting paid.[3]
