"Hey Now (Mean Muggin)" is the first single from rapper Xzibit's album, Weapons of Mass Destruction. The song is produced by Timbaland and his protégé, Nate "Danja" Hills. Keri Hilson sings the chorus in this song. It was featured in NFL Street 2. A music video directed by Benny Boom was released in the CD.[1] "Hey Now" was also released as a single in November 16, 2004. The song peaked at #93 in U.S. Hot 100.

The song was originally produced by Dr. Dre but then Dre sold the beat to Timbaland & Danja for 3 million dollars, then Timbaland was asked to use the beat for the one of Xzibit's songs.
