From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hexes & Ohs is a Montreal-based electronic indie pop duo consisting of long-time couple and collaborators Edmund Lam and Heidi Donnelly. Their sound combines 1980's inspired beats and synthesizer sounds with indie pop structures and melodies, drawing comparisons to bands like Death Cab for Cutie, the Notwist and New Order. Their debut album "Goodbye Friend, Welcome Lover" was released in 2005 on Noise Factory Records (Toronto) and the band have since performed at some major North American festivals including College Music Journal, NXNE, Canadian Music Week, Pop Montreal, Halifax Pop Explosion and the CBC Radio 3 national tour.
