Hetz is a Hebrew word meaning arrow. It can refer to several things:

Hetz, in German, has various meanings. One meaning, more localized to Germany, is to hunt or chase. Another meaning for hetz in Austria is fun. In Vienna, there is a suburb "Hetzendorf." Hetz = fun. A fun village which at the time of its construction and royal use was outside city limits. But as the city grew, it became part of greater Vienna.
