Hesperosuchus is an extinct genus of crocodylomorph reptile that contains a single species, Hesperosuchus agilis. This animal formed a large part the diet of the dinosaur Coelophysis, as shown by fossilized stomach contents[citation needed]. Remains of this sphenosuchian have been found in Late Triassic (Carnian faunal stage) deposits of Arizona and New Mexico.
