[edit] Max Bemis

Hi, I wanted to explain my edits. I changed bass to bass because the former links to a disambiguation page which is (i) considered poor style and (ii) not helpful to people who follow the link, especially if they are not native English speakers. I also changed "was a small film producer" to something less ambiguous. It would be great if you could be more precise than I. It would also help the article if you could add some good independent 3rd party references - someone's webpage might be an interesting link but it doesn't meet the verifiability standard.

Please feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if I can help or clarify. --AndrewHowse 19:18, 19 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] John Ratcliffe

Hi Emily, I have to confess I got stuck at the very beginning of the new material, when it started talking about girlfriends of King James, etc. I have no way of knowing, without more citations, whether any of the new material is factual, so I have once again removed it. It just didn't seem worth the time to clean up the grammar and spelling when I don't even know if any of it is true. This time, however, I have contacted the editor who's been putting it in and have requested references to published works. Based on the name of the editor (Ashleymratcliffe), I get the feeling that she or he is passing down some long-standing family tradition.--Ken Gallager (talk) 17:03, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:The Littlest Rebel.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:The Littlest Rebel.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Tnblk Ji (talk) 06:07, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
